Hollow Atlas

Hollow Atlas is slow in the best way. You explore ruined structures, sketch out the map as you go, and piece together what happened here through notes and environmental clues. There's no combat, just curiosity and the occasional light puzzle.

Movement is a virtual stick with tap-to-interact, and it's forgiving. I never felt the controls got between me and the world. The game auto-saves constantly, so it fits perfectly into short sessions, though I kept playing far longer than planned.

It's gentle on the battery too, since the art style leans on mood and lighting rather than heavy effects. If you want an atmospheric adventure to unwind with, this is one of the standouts we've played this year.
