Tideline Command

Strategy games on phones usually fight the touchscreen. Tideline Command mostly wins that fight. You manage supply routes and defensive lines across island maps, and there's a smart tactical pause that lets you issue orders without the chaos of real-time fumbling.

The interface is the star here. Units snap to a clean grid, drag-selection actually works, and the camera never fights you. On a smaller phone I did squint at unit icons occasionally, but zoom gestures are responsive enough to fix that.

It runs warm during big battles, so I kept sessions to about forty minutes on my older device. Newer phones breeze through it. If you like slow, deliberate planning over twitch reactions, this one's worth your time.
